Disaster Relief

/files/Images/disaster_relief.jpgThe North American Mission Board, along with state Baptist convention leaders, has taken the lead in organizing Southern Baptists to respond to disasters. They contribute manpower, ministry, and financial help during floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, earthquakes, and urban disasters. Hiland Park Baptist has helped build some of the 335 mobile mass feeding, recovery, child care, command, and other units.

If you are interested in being a part of this ministry, call the church office at (850) 785-6530.

Lend A Hand

The Lend-a-Hand Ministry was developed out of requests within our church of senior adults and the disabled who needed assistance with minor home repairs. It has since grown to others outside our church family who cannot monetarily afford to pay for maintenance or home improvement themselves. /files/Images/lah1_thumb.jpg

Construction experience is not a requirement for becoming a part of the Lend-a-Hand Ministry. Anyone willing to do manual labor and interested in working hard is welcome to help.

If you know a special need within or outside of our church, or if you are interested in being a part of the ministry, please contact the church office at (850) 785-6530.

Recreation
/files/Images/recreation.jpg
Play with a purpose! We believe recreation is a great way to connect with our community
and to promote Christian relationships and attitudes through athletics.

Join a softball or basketball team or fellowship with other believers by playing in one of the church-wide golf tournaments.

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Homebound Ministry
